About Me

Hello! My name is Joseph Ghanimah, and I am a Senior at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Computer Engineering with minors in Mathematical Statistics and Data Science. I have a strong background in machine learning and data science, and I am skilled in tools such as Python, Flask, Django, C++, and TensorFlow.

One of my main professional aspirations is to push society toward more extensive usage of data in almost every industry. I believe that there is so much untapped potential in data, and I am passionate about finding ways to apply it to solve problems and drive innovation.

In terms of my skills and abilities, I am exceptionally adaptable and have strong critical and lateral thinking skills. I am also known for my unusually broad knowledge, and my family and peers have referred to me as a "walking encyclopedia."

I am proud to have created my entire personal website from scratch using a Linux-based virtual machine hosted on a DigitalOcean, demonstrating my technical skills and attention to detail. I have also received several academic awards and honors, and have completed a number of relevant coursework and projects in my field.

Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoy gaming, particularly competitive games and strategy games like chess. I also enjoy lifting weights at the gym and staying up-to-date with the latest technology and trends. I am a fan of film and enjoy watching and analyzing movies in my free time.

In the workplace, I am focused on staying informed and constantly improving my work. I am capable of focusing on tasks delegated to me, but I also have a keen interest in other tasks that may not be directly related to my current assignment. I believe that this open-mindedness and adaptability allows me to bring new ideas and perspectives to the table, and I am excited to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
